NEWBURYPORT SENIOR PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

You’re thinking about booking a senior portrait session, but you’ve also always wanted to schedule a family session. Did you know you can book both and combine them? After all, senior year is a big milestone in your child’s life, so why not pull everyone together to celebrate and capture this moment in pictures!

During our photo session, it’s completely up to you how we spend the time together. With an hour session, maybe we reserve a half-hour for senior pictures and a half-hour with the family? Or, what about focusing mainly on the senior, and then spending ten minutes or so with the parents and siblings at the end? Ultimately, the decision comes down to what you as a family are comfortable with — especially the senior — because some teens are understandably more at ease with having their picture taken with fewer people around. And feeling at ease is really important when it comes to creating natural, authentic pictures.

For this family, not only did we do a hybrid senior-family portrait session, but we also shot in two locations: downtown Newburyport first, followed by Plum Island. To make the most out of both locations, we actually booked an hour and a half for this session to ensure we preserved another important ingredient to making great pictures: not feeling rushed.
