Wakefield, MA Lake Quannapowitt Engagement Photography

NORTH SHORE BOSTON ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

If there ever was a centerpiece to Wakefield, MA, the first place that comes to my mind is Lake Quannapowitt, its tranquil waters attracting many a biker, walker — or goose! — for a stroll along its shores. The open greens of the Lower and Upper Common abutting the south end of the lake make for great spots for photography, with both the lakeside gazebo and nearby surround of New England architecture providing for a pretty downtown backdrop.

C&J were familiar with Lake Quannapowitt and suggested we try the location for their engagement session. Great choice! The last days of fall were upon us for our shoot, but the remaining foliage did not disappoint! The setting sun set ablaze a canopy of oranges and yellows, treating us to some really beautiful late afternoon light. My most favorite spot of all was a little hillside nook straddling the water’s edge, the incline positioned in such a way that the foliage made for a backdrop of head-to-toe color.

C&J, thank you again, and so great spending the afternoon with you. Looking forward to your wedding this summer!
