Arnold Arboretum Family Portrait Session

BOSTON FAMILY PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Are you booking a maternity session and already have children? By all means, bring them! Have a fur baby? Bring them, too! When all of you participate together, it’s a great opportunity to tell the complete story of your growing family and document the unique bond you share before the new sibling arrives.

These two Boston moms fully embraced this idea, and what a fun afternoon we had capturing their dynamic with their daughter. A session in motion always makes for fantastic, candid images, and who better to keep us on the go than a five year old? Kids bring that unmatched youthful energy to a shoot, making sure we focus on each other rather than the camera. Sure, we’ll “pose” for a picture or two, but then it’s off to tree climbing, chasing each other through the fields, frolicking on a blanket, and blowing the fuzzies off dandelions. Remember, when you enjoy your time together and the activity you take part in, great pictures will come.

The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University was the perfect spot for our portrait session. Only minutes south of the city, yet there we were, exploring a lush woodland of greens and yellows. Plenty of open spaces to privately enjoy — not to mention very photo-friendly and dog-friendly as well.

Interested in a family or maternity portrait session of your own? Say hello, I’d love to work with you!
